Waterford Tour Diary: Day Four

Day four marks the midway point of the trip in Ireland and it’s been a quiet one for the players and staff as they focused on recovery from the win over Waterford the day before.

To try and not repeat ourselves in these diary entries, here's a quick summary of the morning: wake up, shower, and breakfast. Then a meeting followed before the players and staff got together for a morning run around the local park.

Lunch was up next, with the players and staff tucking in before heading out into the local area for walks, snacks, or even for a coffee in the afternoon. Some of the lads made their way to the golf course in Waterford for a quick game against the staff.

We won’t go into the results from the golf, which can stay in the group, but as soon as they were done, it was a group get-together once again for the evening meal where everyone talked about what they’d been up to all day.

During the day, we caught up with one of the supporters, Donna, who made their way over the Irish Sea to come and support the lads this week and she gave us the low-down on how the trip has gone for them – you can watch the interview online soon.

To round out the day, a walk was on the cards around the town to go and see some of the sights as well as get some well-needed fresh air from new surroundings as two full days of training are coming up ahead of the Dundee FC fixture on Saturday.
