Fleetwood Town can confirm young defender Drew Baker has joined our sister club Waterford FC on loan until the end of their season.
The 20-year-old has made 12 appearances for the Cod Army last campaign, with his first match being an impressive display against Premier League side Everton in the Carabao Cup.
Since then, he has been with Irish Premiership side Bohemian for the first half of the season, where he helped them progress through the Munster Cup.
He has now made the switch to the Blues and joins midfielder Barry Baggley over at the League of Ireland First Division club – he will be eligible for tonight’s clash against Fleetwood at the RSC.
