Fleetwood Town’s Under-18s have just arrived back on the Fylde Coast after spending the last week over in Ireland on a pre-season training camp.
The young Cods first made their way over the Irish Sea last Monday and went straight into a training session when they arrived at the SETU Arena, where the first team trained earlier on this month for the same spell.
Two games would follow for Mark Yeates’ side whilst in Waterford as they first faced off against Cobh Ramblers’ Under-19s and then against Waterford FC’s Under-18s and had two good runouts ahead of this season’s campaign.
With the trip winding down at the end, the players had some downtime where they recovered at a local company called Elite Recovery, which provided treatment throughout the trip, with a trip to play bowling right at the end.
Now that the Under-18s are back in Fleetwood, all eyes are now on their next pre-season friendly which is against Barnoldswick Town on Tuesday 25 July.
Welcome back, lads!
