Winger Phoenix Patterson made his way out into the community on Thursday afternoon as he helped our Community Trust with their Headstart Campaign at Charles Saer Primary school.
After a busy day of training ahead of the club's historic Emirates FA Cup clash against Sheffield Wednesday at the weekend, Phoenix donned his Fleetwood tracksuit and joined up with Rachel Walker from the Community Trust at a local school for a question-and-answer session.
When he arrived, the children had lots of questions about the recent signing, his debut at the club, the best player he's ever played against, and then touched on what motivates him and even how he overcomes challenges whilst playing.
Shortly after that, the 22-year-old signed autographs for the kids on sheets of paper, Town shirts, and some football boots before posing for pictures with each and every one of the kids present on the day.
