Fleetwood Town's Under-18s made the trip to Stockport County on Saturday in the Youth Alliance League, coming back to the Fylde Coast with all three points after a 5-2 win.

In the Youth Alliance League clash, it was Town who took the lead just before the 20 minute mark. Billy Jones - who has recently been part of the first team squadd - smashed the ball home from a corner to get the Cods underway.

Pharrell Brown doubled Fleetwood's lead on the half hour mark with a delightful finish, and with that Town control the match until the half-time whistle.

Within 2 minutes of the restart, Brown bagged his second of the game with a brilliant solo effort to make it 3-0, with forward Mikey Lane bagging another for himself on the 53rd minute.

With the score at 4-0, a few changes were made in the Fleetwood team, and moments later it saw Stockport pull one back at Carrington to possibily change the swing of the game.

County scored their second of the match with just over twenty minutes left to play and could have had a third from the penalty spot, but it was well saved by Rio Cragg.

Bang on full-time, Dom Richmond sealed the victory with a tremendous solo effort, taking the Cod Army five points clear of second place, Preston North End in the North West Youth Alliance League.
