Fleetwood Town manager Lee Johnson has named his side to face Bolton Wanderers at Highbury Stadium in the final game of the calendar year.
The manager has made four changes to the side that drew 1-1 with Carlisle United on Boxing Day. Josh Vela, Junior Quitirna, Callum Dolan and Connor Teale come in for Carl Johnston, Jack Marriott, Harrison Holgate and Maleace Asamoah.
Quitirna starts for the first time since Saturday 28 October 2023 when Town played away at Barnsley. The young forward scored two goals that afternoon, one being a stunning free-kick from 25-yards. The former Waterford FC star came off the bench on Tuesday after just seven weeks on the sideline.
Lee Johnson is back on the touchline after serving a one-game touchline ban, with defender Teale back in the starting XI following an impressive display in the point picked up at Portsmouth.
Starting XI: Lynch (GK), Wiredu, Lawal, Vela (C), Stockley, Quitirna, Heneghan, Dolan, Teale, Earl, Patterson.
The Bench: McMullan (GK), Johnston, Tshimanga, Marriott, Holgate, Hayes, Asamoah.
