Fleetwood Town can proudly announce that we will be hosting our sister club, Waterford FC's pre-season training camp this January at Poolfoot Farm.
The Blues, who secured their place in the League of Ireland Premier Division following a 2-1 win over Cork City in the Play-Off Final back in November, will want to prepare themselves in the best way possible, and that will all start on the Fylde Coast in January 2024.
From January 14, Keith Long's side are set to spend the week at Poolfoot Farm Sports & Leisure Complex as preparations begin for the new campaign. This will see our sister club use the elite playing surfaces available as well as the on-site gym amongst other facilities.
During the visit, Waterford FC will take on a Fleetwood Town XI, in what will be the second ever meeting between the two sides and a pre-season friendly for the Blues.
The match will take place on Tuesday 16 January at Highbury Stadium, with kick-off at 7pm.
