Fleetwood Town's Development Squad are now set to face Nottingham Forest in the Premier League Cup at the Impact Arena on Thursday 21 December 2023 (7pm kick-off).
Matt Lawlor's men were all prepared to make the trip over to Derbyshire for their cup tie, which was scheduled to take place at 7pm on Friday 8 December, but the game had to be called off after a pitch inspection at Alfreton Town's ground.
The rearranged fixture will now take place on Thursday 21 December 2023 at 7pm with supporters from both teams able to watch the game from the stands.
Fleetwood Town will be looking to get revenge before Christmas as earlier in the campaign, they fell to a 3-1 defeat in their opening game of the Premier League Cup to Nottingham Forest at Victory Park - the home of National League North side, Chorley FC.
