Young defender Conor Haughey was in action for the Northern Ireland Under-17s on Tuesday afternoon when they faced off against a strong Brighton & Hove Albion side in the south of England.
This is the first call-up for Haughey since he joined the Cods back in the summer and he has impressed in the back line of the youth side from Northern Ireland, starting the friendly in the back line.
Before coming to Fleetwood, the young defender had considerable international experience as he captained their Under-16s when they competed in the Victory Shield during the 2022/23 season.
With the games in the camp now over, Conor will soon head back to re-join his teammates in the Under-18s at Poolfoot Farm as they prepare for their next league fixture against Colchester United on Saturday.
Congratulations on another international cap, Conor!
