Four Fleetwood Town players were in action over the weekend for their respective loan clubs, and we have all the details you need to know from their matches.

Pat Boyes joined FC United of Manchester in pre-season and played the full 90 minutes on Saturday as United beat Worksop Town FC 3-0 at Broadhurst Park. Goals from former Town midfielder Michael Donohue Nic Bollado, plus an own goal sealed an important home win.

The young goalkeeper pulled off an amazing double save just before the hour mark. With the ball struck across goal, Boyes was able to keep the first effort out and then get up and deny the Worksop forward with an instinctive save from close range.

Barry Baggley started for sister club Waterford FC on Friday night with Drew Baker on the bench for the Blues. It finished 2-2 against league leaders Galway United at the RSC, with Baggley getting an assist.

Keith Long's side got off to the best start possible by scoring just 20 seconds into the game. Ronan Coughlan fired past Clarke after Christie Patterson did well down the right flank. Coughlan bagged his second of the game 22 minutes into the game, with Baggley claiming the assist from the corner.

Young forward Will Russ started for Marine on Saturday in their Northern Premier League opener at Gainsborough Trinity. The match finished goalless, with Russ substituted in the 69th minute.
