Fleetwood Town can confirm Conor Haughey has been named in the Northern Ireland Under-17s squad ahead of their upcoming international break.
Haughey joined the Club's Under-18s in the summer from Northern Irish side Glentoran - who Town have had an excellent relationship over the years, with the likes of Barry Baggley, Chris Conn-Clarke and Harry Wilson being some to make the switch to England.
Northern Ireland's Under-17s are set to meet on Friday 18 August at Belfast Airport before flying down to Gatwick Airport - where they will taken make the short trip to Brighton, who they will play in a friendly match on Tuesday 22 August for a 12pm kick-off.
Conor and his side will face Brighton & Hove Albion's Youth Team on Tuesday afternoon, with this being a warm-up ahead of further international competitions this year.
He will miss the Under-18s opening game of the season at home to Watford at Poolfoot Farm on Saturday, but will be back for the fixture the following weekend away at Colchester United.
