Fleetwood Town’s Under-18s will be looking to extend their current unbeaten run to three on Saturday morning when they host Preston North End at Poolfoot Farm this weekend.
Mark Yeates’ side has been in red-hot form over the last couple of weeks as they managed to put in a five-star performance against Walsall – with goals coming from Zane Marsh, Mikey Lane, and Kyle King.
That came before the side travelled to Chapel Road, where they beat Oldham Athletic 3-2 last week, thanks to Dom Richmond, Raff Cirino, and Pharrell Brown finding the back of the net on the day.
The Young Cods find themselves in second place at the moment in the Youth Alliance table, only below Blackpool, and will have every chance to close the gap on the Tangerines with Preston currently on a six-game losing streak in all competitions.
