Fleetwood Town’s first team squad will be heading to Waterford, Ireland this summer as part of the preparations ahead of the 2023/24 campaign.
The Cods will make their way over the Irish Sea in July and will be based in Waterford, a city where chairman Andy Pilley owns a League of Ireland First Division side, and Town are set to undergo a training camp at the SETU Arena, before returning to the Fylde Coast to complete their pre-season programme.
Between Sunday 2 July and Saturday 8 July, Fleetwood’s base at the SETU Arena boasts the best training facilities in the country, having the largest sports, conference, and events centre in the South East of Ireland.
Two games are set to be played during Town’s time in Ireland and a supporters’ trip for the Cod Army is set to be announced in due course. With the arena, which is hosting Scott Brown’s side, being on the outskirts of Waterford, you can add a training day as well as admittance to both fixtures to your agenda whilst out there.
