Fleetwood Town Football Club are hosting an event on Monday 26 September to remember the life of Vice President and club legend Barrie McLoughlin, who sadly passed away in May at the age of 79.
Barrie played an integral part in the club’s progress over several decades and was a friend to everybody who knew him.
At 12.30pm on Monday 26 September, there will be a brief pitch side ceremony in which Barrie’s ashes will be buried beneath the Highbury pitch followed by light refreshments in the Parkside Lounge, where the bar will also be open.
Anybody wishing to pay their respects to Barrie would be very welcome to attend with entrance to the stadium via the club main entrance.
