Fleetwood Town Wrens Ladies Reserves were in action this weekend, and picked up all three points in their league fixture against Accrington Stanley Ladies Reserves.
With the Wrens Ladies First Team off due to their pitch being waterlogged, it was up to the Reserves to bring home all three points and that's exactly what they did on Sunday against local rivals, Accrington Stanley Ladies.
In a solid and dominant performance, a goal from Islay Aitken and a hat-trick from Carmel Daniel saw the Cod Army win 4-0 against Stanley. A clean sheet was just as important as the goals scored down the other end which pleased the coaching staff.
The Player of the Match was Caz Wilcock, but all the girls deserve recognition for the performance.
