Fleetwood Town's International Football Academy (FTIFA) have been busy this week as they have played in a showcase fixture at Highbury on Wednesday afternoon against Myerscough College.

The players experienced what it would be like to be in the first team at Fleetwood as they did a whole day as if it was a league fixture. They arrived at the stadium before getting sorted in the changing rooms and walking out the tunnel for the showcase game.

Jezza Dunn (two goals), Dylan Mobbs, and Kris Smith all got on the score sheet on the afternoon as the squad took in all the first team facilities and looked on to what could be if they transition into the professional game.

Mick Horsfall, UK & International Football Operations Manager, said on the game: "It was a great experience for the players to see the stadium and even play on the same pitch the first team does at every home game in the season.

"They performed brilliantly on the day as they managed to beat Myerscough 4-2 and will take the positives into our game against International House Manchester next week."
