Fleetwood Town Wrens Ladies' brilliant cup run came to an end on Wednesday evening as they lost out to Burnley Women at County Ground.
The semi-final of the cup against the vastly experiences Clarets was always going to be an uphill battle, but one that the Wrens Ladies took under their wings. Goals from Preistley, Greenhalgh, Willis, Ravening, Worthington, and Hamer put the game out of sight on the night though as the home side progressed to the final.
We are so proud of our Wrens Ladies for making it so far in the competition - all focus on the league going forwards now!
