Fleetwood Town's Under-19s played an almost perfect game against Accrington Stanley on Saturday morning, beating them 3-0 at Poolfoot Farm.
It started out as an even contest between the two sides, with both creating few chances, but it all came together in the second half for the young Cods as they managed to find the back of the net on three occasions.
After Covy Smith kicked off the second half, it took Town six minutes to net the opener through a Dominic Richmond strike. Oli Leggett did well down the left before playing the ball to the forward who poked home.
Town made it two with 20 minutes to go as Pharrell Brown put the ball past the Accrington goalkeeper, before Richmond completed his barce for the afternoon 12 minutes from time.
Town XI: Rees (GK), Khela, Leggett, Kearns, Hoyle, Johnson, Jones, King, Smith, Brown, Richmond.
