Fleetwood Town are delighted to announce the signing of forward Promise Omochere on a three-year deal from Irish Premier Division side Bohemians.
Omochere – who is the seventh player to join the Cods this summer – arrives as one of the most highly rated prospects in the League of Ireland with Town beating off a number of EFL clubs for his signature.
The six-foot-three forward, who has been called up to the Republic of Ireland Under-19s, played a part in his side finishing runners-up in the Premier Division in Ireland in 2020, as well as reaching the FAI Cup final a year later.
After showing a good run of form for Bohemians, he caught the eyes of teams up and down the English football pyramid.
The deal, for which Town paid a substantial transfer fee, also includes and option to keep him with the club until 2026.
