Chris Conn-Clarke scored a 91st minute winner for National League side Altricham in their league clash against FC Halifax Town on Boxing Day.
In what was a tight affair at the J. Davidson Stadium, it was a late minute goal from the Fleetwood Town loanee that separated the two sides in Greater Manchester. After an amazing run from deep inside the opponents half, the young forward showed the calmness and the composure to slot the ball home to give his side all three points.
Conn-Clarke was named in the National League Team of the Week for his performance, which sees the 21-year-old now on 6 goals for the season at Altrincham.
Tom Hoyle was another one of our players who featured on Boxing Day. Colne welcomed Clitheroe to Holt House and it was a day to remember for the centre-half as he bagged the opening goal in the match. Colne went on to win the match 2-1, with Craig Carney scoring early in the second half.
Dylan Boyle played 90 minutes for Spennymoor Town in their National League North fixture away at Blyth Spartans. The Northern Ireland midfielder saw his side win 3-1 on the road to claim all three points on Boxing Day.
