Defender James Hill has been called up to the England Under-20s setup for the second time in a row and will be playing Italy and Czech Republic whilst there.
Hill – who came off the bench in the side’s win over Romania in his last international call-up – must have impressed as Andy Edwards has given the defender who has made almost 50 appearances for Fleetwood the call once again.
The 19-year-old will join up with England on Sunday at St. George’s Park, where the squad will be based for almost a week. On Thursday 7 October, the side will face off against the Italians in Chesterfield with the game being a 7pm kick-off.
After that, they will fly to Prague as they will play their second game, which is an UEFA Under-20 Elite League clash against Czech Republic at the AGC Arena on Monday 11 October. Hill and the squad will then fly back to England, and he will join back up with the Cods later this month.
Congrats again, Hilly!
