Goalkeeper Tom Donaghy was the only loan player on show over the last weekend due to others being on international duty with their respected nations.

Donaghy, who is currently on loan at Farlsey Celtic, managed another 90 minutes for the side in their trip to Gloucester City. The young goalkeeper made a few brilliant saves on the day, but it wasn’t enough to keep the side in the game, eventually losing out 2-0 at New Meadow Park.

Bamber Bridge were without a game at the weekend, meaning that Akiel Raffie didn’t gain any minutes whilst on loan at the Brig. Their LFA Challenge Trophy clash just before on the 9th against Chorley was also called off due to a waterlogged pitch.

Both Barry Baggley and Cian Hayes are both out on international duty with Northern Ireland Under-21s and Republic of Ireland Under-19s respectively so neither were able to feature for their loan sides.

Baggley’s Altrincham earned a valuable point against league leaders, Boreham Wood at the J.Davidson Stadium on Saturday afternoon, which was deserved on the day. Whereas, Hayes’ FC United of Manchester were knocked out of the FA Trophy as they fell to a 3-2 defeat to Marske United away from home.
