Defender Callum Johnson has been named in this week’s Sky Bet League One ‘Team of the Week’ after his performance against Morecambe.
Johnson – who has been an ever-present figure since joining the club on loan from Portsmouth at the start of the season – continued his good form from the right-back position, managing to rise highest from a corner to score his second goal of the season, which was a leveller at the time.
Callum is the third Fleetwood defender to feature in the Team of the Week, with Danny Andrew being nominated twice after his performances against Lincoln City and Cambridge United respectively, and Darnell Johnson after netting against Cheltenham Town earlier on in the season.
