Fleetwood Town’s International Football Academy (FTIFA) will be holding an open day at the club’s training ground, Poolfoot Farm, on Tuesday 7 December.

The day will be available to the Academy’s current international partners, as well as new agencies, travel firms, clubs, and players if they wish to attend and join the booming network.

Guests will be invited to Fleetwood Town’s first-team Sky Bet League One fixture against Bolton Wanderers at Highbury Stadium on the evening of Tuesday 7 December, with kick-off in the night being 7:45pm.

The event will consist of a ‘Talent I.D. Fixture’ which will be open to both the UK and international players aged 16-21 looking for a step into professional football and will have scouts from Europe and beyond, who will access the game, both in person or via video link.

FTIFA will also be presenting to attendees a range of information on our core programmes here at Fleetwood Town, which will be combined with a show round of the facilities at Rossall School.

Here are the programmes available at the Academy:

- Pro Experience Programme - Full-time football training with authentic pathways into semi-pro and professional football in the UK and the Rest of the World

- Education & Football Programme - Players are lined into our partner Rossall school and will be emerged in their studies across a range of options while undertaking a full-time football training schedule alongside it.

- FTIFA Club visits - Our ProWeeks are a brilliant way to enable players from across the world access to professional training, matches and experiences that only the UK can offer.

- FTIFA PARTNERSHIPS - With an ever-growing portfolio of Clubs that are engaging with Fleetwood Town and the opportunity to bring Professional Coaches into their own countries. Here at Fleetwood, we are always keen to work with clubs that have player development at the heart of their philosophy.

If you feel that your club, your company, your knowledge of players and pathways could have a positive effect on our programmes and in turn your own business, you can email Michael Horsfall, the Operations Manager at FTIFA, HERE to request attendance or to submit information on what you feel could benefit yourself through working with us.

We look forward to hearing from you!
