Defender Callum Connolly has been picked for the Sky Bet League One midweek ‘Team of the Week’ after his performance against Ipswich Town.
The 21-year-old played at the centre of a back five in Fleetwood’s clash against The Tractor Boys on Tuesday evening, which ended in a 2-0 win.
Connolly played his part in keeping a clean sheet in the game – which was the fourth in a row for the club – as well as scoring the opener in the game, converting from a James Hill throw.
