Fleetwood Town can confirm we are set to host Sky Bet Championship side Huddersfield Town in a pre-season friendly, ahead of the 2021/22 season.
Simon Grayson’s side have added another fixture to the schedule and will face off against Carlos Corberán’s men at Highbury Stadium on Tuesday 27 July (7pm).
The club have already announced five pre-season fixtures as Town will be travelling to Radcliffe to start the schedule on Saturday 10 July (3pm), before hosting Port Vale on Tuesday 13 July (1pm) and then heading to Greater Manchester that Saturday to face Rochdale (3pm).
Later in the month, Town’s clash against Huddersfield will then take place ahead of the Leeds United home tie on Friday 30 July (7pm), with an away fixture against Chester on Saturday 31 July (3pm) to follow and finish off the pre-season campaign.
This fixture will follow government guidelines in terms of fans attendance and future fixture announcements will be released in due course.
