Fleetwood Town are set to travel to Home Park on Saturday afternoon to face Plymouth Argyle in another Sky Bet League One clash.

The Cod Army have faced The Pilgrims nine times in competitive fixtures, with Town have winning the last two meetings.

LAST COMPETITIVE CLASH

The last time these sides met was in November 2020, when Town walked away winners after beating Plymouth Argyle 5-1 at Highbury Stadium.

Town started out the game on top with Sam Finley and Callum Camps both getting on the score sheet within the first ten minutes. Wes Burns and Charlie Mulgrew added further goals before Camps finished off his brace.

LAST MEETING AT HOME PARK

It’s been a while since the Cod Army last travelled to Home Park, with the last meeting coming in November 2018, which ended 2-1 to the home side.

A brace from Freddy Ladapo secured the points for the hosts, despite a late Paddy Madden goal which initially gave the Cod Army hope, however, Plymouth amanged to hang on and claim all three points on the day.
