Fleetwood Town Community Trust have officially announced the five players to be their ambassadors for the 2021/22 season.
Danny Andrew, who has been prolific from his set-pieces so far this season, is joined by defenders Tom Clarke and James Hill and forward Shayden Morris, with Alex Cairns continuing on in the role of Inclusion Ambassador.
Within their role, it will be to represent the club and promote the club’s themes and agendas to the wider community, whether that be on matchdays, on a Trust camp, or on their personal visits with partner schools.
The ambassadors for the club are as follows:
Tom Clarke – Education Ambassador
Danny Andrew – Health Ambassador
James Hill – Sporting Ambassador
Alex Cairns – Inclusion Ambassador
Shayden Morris - Youth Ambassador
Mike Tallentire, the Trust's School Sports Educator, said: "We are delighted to have the five players on board for the season. It is important for the players to work with the community when at this football club.
"The five chosen ambassadors will really help promote their areas through a variety of different ways; and alongside us, they will help children stay active, keep them working hard in school and also help them become the best people they can be in whatever environment they are in."
