Poolfoot Farm is delighted to reveal its brand-new food offering, Pizza Calcio, which will be launching this weekend!
Pizza Calcio, which translates to Pizza Football, offers Italian inspired dishes from pasta and chicken parm, to a range of delicious authentic Neapolitan pizzas, so there is something for everyone. We’ve got the ‘little champs’ covered too with their own special menu.
After investing in a top of the range pizza oven and crafting a recipe for the best hand-stretched dough, the pizzas really are the star of the show – they’re even named after former Cod Army stars! Click here to view the full menu.
Pizza Calcio really endorses the food, football and family culture, and the new offering has allowed Poolfoot to adapt to the current situation in the UK.
Grant Beech, Personal and Project Chef at Fleetwood Town and Poolfoot, has spearheaded the rebrand and development of the new menu.
“I feel the menu that I’ve put together is now the perfect offering for our customers and complements what we do and who we are,” said Grant. “The name Pizza Calcio represents our offering and our surroundings.
“A change was needed - we needed to adapt to the current global pandemic and enhance our offering. Over the last few months, I have spent hours developing and perfecting dishes that I’m sure our customers will love, and I can’t wait for people to try some of our dishes this weekend.”
