Defender Danny Andrew sat down with the media on Friday afternoon and previewed Fleetwood Town's league clash against Wigan Athletic, which will take place at Highbury on Saturday.
Andrew has been an ever-present figure in the Fleetwood side since re-joining the club and has played a crucial part in the club's recent form. The full-back's experience has helped the side keep consecutive clean sheets in the last two games against Swindon Town and Portsmouth respectively.
Here's what Danny had to say:
On Saturday’s game…
“It’s that same as any other game. We need to make sure we do our jobs right, make sure we work hard, and outwork all opposition teams we come up against – that will be no different to tomorrow.
“In football, you could win or lose against everyone which makes you focus on whatever is put in front of us.
“There’s been a lot of games that have come very quickly but you just have to get on with it, try and recover well and get ready for the next one.
“We’ve had two good clean sheets away from home and we need to bring that back home now, starting tomorrow, and hopefully pick up three points.”
On Town’s defence…
“It’s clear to see that the back lads were chopping and changing at the start of the season, but we seem to have found a four that’s working well together at the minute.
“I don’t think a team has scored the perfect goal against us this season, it’s been scrappy, and we’ve conceded goals that we aren’t happy with and they are ones that we could have avoided.
“We are starting to get clean sheets now, which is good because, with them, you are getting a minimum a point a game so it’s good for us.
“We’ve had two long away trips against two different sides, and we’ve got two clean sheets in those game, which gives us lots of confidence going into tomorrow."
