Fleetwood Town are delighted to announce the signing of Morgan Boyes from Liverpool on loan for the 2020/21 season.
The 19-year-old arrives at Highbury Stadium on a season-long loan from the Premier League champions, following an impressive campaign in their U23s last season.
Boyes made his first start for Jurgen Klopp’s side in the quarter-final of the EFL Cup against Aston Villa earlier this year after making his senior debut in the FA Cup against Shrewsbury.
And Joey Barton explained the Welshman arrives with a good reputation.
“He’s a player our scouts have been watching for a while and we are delighted to get him,” said the Town boss.
“Morgan is a young player with plenty of potential, hopefully, we can help him develop at Fleetwood and see him establish himself in our side.”
Boyes will wear the number 5 shirt at Highbury.
