Fleetwood Town’s Under 18s made it two wins from two on Saturday, as they recorded a 2-1 victory over Rochdale at Poolfoot Farm.
Simon Wiles’ side followed up last weekend’s 3-1 win over Mansfield in the Youth Appliance Cup with three points over Dale, in their first Youth Alliance League fixture of the season.
James Hill and Kai Steer got the goals for the Cod Army, which saw Wiles’ youngsters come from behind to claim victory after an early goal for the visitors.
The next league match for the Under 18s is away to Tranmere Rovers on Saturday 7 September (11am kick-off).
