Fleetwood Town attacker Dan Mooney starred for Wales U21s in their Euro U21 qualifier victory over Belgium on Friday night
The Cod Army youngster – who played 76 minutes for Paul Bodin’s side – got the assist for the only goal of the game in the third minute, crossing for Nottingham Forest midfielder Brennan Johnson, which was enough for all three points at The Racecourse Ground, Wrexham.
It was the first game for Wales in Group 9 of their European U21 Championship Qualification campaign, with Bosnia & Herzegovina, Germany and Moldova joining Wales and Belgium in the group.
Wales host Germany on Tuesday in Wrexham in their second qualifying game.
