Fleetwood Town Wrens Ladies got their season back on track on Sunday as they beat Merseyrail Ladies 2-1 at Poolfoot Farm.
Dave Butler’s side – who have struggled with form in the last couple of weeks – climbed up the table after a hard-fought win at Poolfoot Farm.
Lauren Oatley and Emma Whittaker managed to grab a goal apiece on the day meaning Fleetwood rise to 9th in the table.
The Wrens are back in action on Sunday 3 November as they travel to Slyne-with-Hest FC to face Morecambe Ladies in a crucial North West Women’s Regional League game, which kicks off at 2pm.
