Fleetwood Town Wrens Ladies came back from their Lancashire Cup exit last week in style as they managed to beat Wigan Athletic 7-0 on Sunday.
Dave Butler’s side – who have been in good form over the past few weeks – have made it three wins from their last four North West Women’s Regional League games after a brilliant performance at Poolfoot Farm.
Holly Hunter was the stand-out player on the day as she dominated the midfield, as well as chipping in with a few goals on the day. Well done ladies!
The Wrens Ladies are next in action on Sunday 1 December as they travel to Ellesmere Port Sports Village to face Tranmere Rovers Ladies, for a 2pm kick-off.
