Day one is complete in Vilamoura, and it had been a busy one for the Fleetwood Town first-team squad.
The day started off with all of the staff and players meeting up at Liverpool John Lennon Airport at 9am on Sunday morning, and landing in Faro at around 2pm.
After all the bags had been collected, the team boarded their coach and headed off to Browns Sports Resort – which is the squad’s base for the week-long training camp.
The squad then went around, and got used to their surroundings, before heading in for some lunch. Once they had all eaten, everyone went into a squad meeting and discussed the plan for the week.
At 6pm, the players then went onto the grass for their first training session in the Portuguese heat and then, finally, went into the ice baths in order to recover for tomorrow’s sessions.
