Fleetwood Town’s Development Squad will take on local non-league side Squires Gate in their first pre-season friendly on Tuesday night (kick-off 7:30pm)
Even though the first team are out in sunny Portugal on a week-long training camp, there is still chance for the Cod Army to watch their team in action at Squires Gates.
A number of the Development Squad featured on Friday night when Town took on Wrexham in the club’s first match of the 2019/20 campaign, seeing Town winning 1-0 thanks to a goal from forward Michael Fowler.
Stephen Crainey’s side will feature players like Ryan Rydel, Harvey Saunders, and James Hill - who made his full league debit against Blackpool last season, with many more familiar faces fans might have seen last season when the team played matches at Poolfoot Farm.
