Fleetwood Town are aiming to deliver the best possible matchday experience for supporters during the 2019/20 season.
General Manager, Dave Riche has been appointed the club’s Supporter Liaison Officer (SLO) and is looking to bring together all elements of the club on matchdays and also away from the ground at Highbury.
During the pre-season home fixtures we have seen half-time activities reintroduced in association with the Community Trust, and we are introducing a new family zone for fans to attend prior to kick-off.
A real focus has been made during the close season on targeting juniors, which was highlighted with close work with schools across the Fylde Coast.
When the first home match of the new season comes to Highbury, we are introducing a number of new promotions to welcome first time fans, along with regular supporters to make Cod Army experience the very best.
Dave Riche said: “It’s been very pleasing to see the growth of more and more supporter focused thinking across the sport in general and the SLO role has undoubtedly had an influence in that.
“We are looking to recruit a number of fan liaison team members to work around the stadium, and we plan to take liaison representatives to all our away matches.
“The club will work very closely with the Official Supporters Club, Community Trust and the whole fanbase to deliver the best matchday experience possible.”
