Fleetwood Town’s official eSports team made the perfect start to life in the Virtual Pro Gaming Championship North with a win in their opening fixture.
FTFC eSports came up against Flanders United, a side who the player have met before in the first season in the VPG North Cup which saw the Cod Army come out 2-1 winners thanks to goals from Ro ‘OohDciznZ’ Mitchell and John ‘JCC’ Charles.
This time round the game finished 2-0 to FTFC eSports with Reece ‘xReeceCooper_’ Cooper scoring the two goals on his debut for the club. Two well worked goals, which both came from great build up from our head coach, and our captain. You can watch the highlights of the game below from the official YouTube Channel.
FTFC eSports are back in action tonight and will play two games, with the first match against Grinta Calcio at 8:15pm, and that will be followed by Esports Wolves at 9:00pm.
Tuesday will see the players play twice once again, with Town coming up against Maritimo eSports at 8:15pm, and then Insanity XI at 9pm on the same day. This will be action you don't want to miss out on.
Thursday will be the final league action of the week, and head coach Jonny 'xj101' will come up against Nemesis XI, with a kick-off time of 8:45pm.
