On Tuesday evening inside the Parkside Suite, Fleetwood Town fans got their first look at new Head Coach Joey Barton, with Chairman Andy Pilley by his right hand side at Highbury Stadium.
Fans who have purchased their Onward Card for the new season were given an exclusive meeting with Joey Barton, who answered many questions from supporters and also from fans who sent them in via social media.
Barton – who signed a three-year deal to become the new boss at the club – gave the full house plenty to go home with, showing his knowledge of the game, signalling his willingness to make Town the best club it can be, and to hear how important he believes the community can be throughout his tenor at the club, and beyond.
During the interval and after the event, Barton stopped for pictures with the fans that attended, and he wasn’t shy of having some banter with the supporters from start to finish.
The chairman expressed why he had appointed Joey Barton as the club’s new Head Coach and reassured fans that he believes the former Manchester City man is the best man for the job, and that he has the right attributes to become one of the best young managers in the country.
Fans can still purchase the Onward Card, and there are a variety of ways to pay for your Onward Card for the upcoming season, with monthly and annual payment methods.
