Fleetwood Town can now confirm the permanent signing of Toumani Diagouraga following the end of his contract at Plymouth Argyle.
Town have fought off competition from a number of clubs in the Championship and League One for the signature of the 30-year-old, who has been in outstanding form for Argyle this season.
Diagouraga played under head coach Uwe Rosler whilst at Brentford, and has enjoyed successful spells at Leeds United, Portsmouth and Ipswich Town in recent years.
Toumani will wear the number 16 shirt, and trained with his new teammates for the first time on Wednesday morning, after putting pen to paper on a 18-month-deal.
Welcome to the Cod Army, Toumani!
