It was a hive of activity at Poolfoot Farm on Thursday afternoon as the world’s media descended on the Fylde Coast ahead of Saturday’s Emirates FA Cup 3rd Round tie against former Premier League champions Leicester City.

Head coach Uwe Rosler and captain Nathan Pond were the centre of attention on a busy day of interviews from outlets such as Sky Sports News, BBC, Premier League Productions, who broadcast to 165 nations worldwide, and several national newspapers.

All the local press were also in attendance, with Radio Wave, BBC Radio Lancashire and the Blackpool Gazette all putting questions to the pair.

There were also interviews for Chief Executive Steve Curwood from the national papers, while photographers snapped all the action at a packed training ground.

The FA Cup trophy also made an appearance at Poolfoot Farm, making the trip up from London as a showpiece to Pond and Rosler’s interviews.
