Fleetwood Town can confirm that young duo Dion Charles and Elliot Osborne have joined National League North side Southport on permanent deals for undisclosed fees.
Charles - who joined the club in 2016 from AFC Fylde - and Osborne, who made the switch from Nantwich Town in the same year, have both spent time on loan at FC Halifax Town and Morecambe respectively this season.
Both featured for the club in the Checkatrade Trophy last year, and have attracted a lot of interest this season given their performances whilst on loan at their respective clubs.
Dion and Elliot featured regulary for Paul Murray's Development Squad, and were on the fringes of the first team squad, with both now putting pen to paper on a deal with Kevin Davies' side.
