Cian Bolger returns for Saturday’s trip to Doncaster Rovers, and has given his thoughts to media ahead of the game.

On his return from suspension…

“It’s been longer than expected because of the Rochdale game being postponed.

“I’m looking forward to it and hopefully I can get back out on the pitch.

“It’s been difficult watching the lads and not being able to play so hopefully I can get back out and help the team.”

On Doncaster Rovers…

“It will be a difficult test, they are a physical team and they are near us in the table.

“It’s a massive game, one we are looking forward to and we are confident we can go and get something from.

“We have to go down there, do the right things and come away with three points.”

On the mood in the camp…

"There is a lot of disappointment with Tuesday’s result, but there was a lot of positives to take.

“The last four games we have played well but we have been conceding late goals, which is disappointing.

“We can take a lot of positives from the games and hopefully we can take them into Saturday and get the three points.”

On helping the young players…

“We need to tell them to keep going, work hard in training and the results will come.

“It’s a difficult period at the minute but we need to keep digging in and go again Saturday.”

On the remaining fixtures…

“It’s a massive period coming up for us.

“Three points will be massive on Saturday, it will be a big boost and hopefully we can create some momentum going into the busy end of the season.”

On the fans making the trip…

“The more support we get the better.

“We appreciate every single one that comes to support us away from home.

“It’s great to have the backing of them and hopefully they come again on Saturday.”
