With the 2016/17 Sky Bet League One season over after a narrow play-off a defeat to Bradford City, it has been one which has provided so many great memories for Town fans.

Check out below some of the key numbers from our historic season which culminated in a fourth place finish for Uwe Rosler’s side.

19,012 – The attendance for our away win at Sheffield United, the highest crowd the club have played in front of in the EFL.

21 – League matches in what Town scored in, starting from the first day of the season against Northampton until the 0-0 draw with Bury on Boxing Day.

18 – Matches unbeaten since the defeat at Port Vale in November until the home loss to Bolton Wanderers in early March.

16 – Clean sheets in just 31 starts for Alex Cairns, who came into the side in mid-November and never looked back since.

15 – Different players to find the net in the league, with strikers David Ball and Ashley Hunter the two players who hit double figures.

11 – Away wins, the third best away record in the division.

7 – Goals scored in second half injury time, including Kyle Dempsey’s late winner at Gillingham and Amari’i Bell’s equaliser at Charlton Athletic.

7 – Teams who Town beat at home and on the road. They were Oxford United, Peterborough United, Walsall, Shrewsbury Town, Gillingham, Coventry City and Chesterfield.

2ndTown’s highest position in the league table, which was achieved in March after the 2-0 win at Scunthorpe.

1 – Player named in the Sky Bet League One and EFL Teams of the Season – Conor McLaughlin.

1 – Head coach named Manager of the Season for Sky Bet League One – Uwe Rosler.
