12 January 2017

Match officials announced for Rovers fixture

The match officials for this weekend’s fixture against Bristol Rovers have been announced.

The referee for the game will be Darren England, who’ll be officiating in his third Fleetwood fixture this season.

He was the man in the middle for Town’s 2-1 away loss to Bolton in the league, whilst he also took charge of the 0-0 draw at Southport in the Emirates FA Cup.

The last time we saw England at Highbury was last season, when the Cod Army convincingly beat Swindon Town 5-1.

Danny Markham and Paul Newhouse will be assisting during the match, whilst Simon Mather will be the fourth official.

In 24 games this season, England has shown 64 yellows and 5 reds, and was most recently in charge of Wycombe Wanderers vs Stourbridge last Saturday in the third round of the Emirates FA Cup.
