Fleetwood Town are delighted to announce the appointment of Scott Macneill as Head of Academy Recruitment.
Macneill joins the club from local neighbours Blackpool, where he was the Head of Coaching in the club’s academy.
Macneil said: “I’m delighted to join a club which is so forward thinking. When Ciaran discussed with me to come here, it was an easy decision to do that.
“Recruitment is key to the club throughout. It’s vital for the academy to recruit the best players that we can. The facilities here at Poolfoot Farm and the staff will certainly attract players.
Ciaran Donnelly, Academy Manager, added: “I’m delighted to have Scott here and to join our team of talented staff.
“His mission is to find players both locally on the Fylde Coast and nationally to come and join our academy, to make us better and to look towards getting players into the first team in the future.”
