Uwe Rosler said he is not blaming anyone after his side fell to a narrow 2-1 defeat at Bristol Rovers in Sky Bet League One.

Ashley Hunter had given Town the lead, but two second half goals from Matty Taylor and Christian Montano completed a comeback for the hosts.

It’s a difficult place to go and a lot of managers will tell you that,” said Rosler.

“We have to also give credit to the opposition. We started the first half very well and finished the first half very well – in between, Bristol Rovers took over and had a few chances. Second half there was nothing in the game, we didn’t create enough and they didn’t either but we made two mistakes.

“I’m not blaming anybody,” Rosler added.

Despite taking the lead just four minutes in, Fleetwood had to defend well for the majority of the first half, with the pressure from The Pirates continuing in the second half.

“I thought our two centre halves were outstanding.

“In the end we could have easily drawn the game but I’m not disappointed because my players gave there all.

“We knew that they would have the majority of possession, but I think they really struggled with us in the first 15 minutes.

“When I see my players giving me everything, that’s all I can ask.”
