Residents took part in a number of chair based exercises
Fleetwood Town Community Trust’s popular Extra Time session took place at Regenda Hatfield Avenue near Highbury Stadium this afternoon.The residents took part in a number of chair based exercises which included aerobic exercises, resistance work and carpet bowls.
After a successful six week trial period at the beginning of February, the residents bought into the sessions and has since become a regular occurrence each week.
Community Sport co-ordinator, Mike Lee, said: “The residents really enjoyed today’s session. For many of them it’s a social session.
“We are also conscious of the sessions being beneficial to their health too, so we discuss the importance of eating healthily and staying active in the week.”
