Town fans can cast their vote for their December Player of the Month
As Town look ahead to their final game of 2016, December has seen the club rise to eighth in Sky Bet League One as well as qualify for the Third Round of the Emirates FA Cup.
The month started with an Emirates FA Cup Second Round tie at Shrewsbury Town. A solid defensive display led by Nathan Pond saw Town earn a replay.
A home game with Walsall followed on the 10th December, with Town coming out on top 2-1 thanks to goals from Ashley Hunter and Bobby Grant.
The Emirates FA Cup replay soon came around, with Town producing a stunning comeback to beat Shrewsbury 3-2.
Jim O’Brien and Louis Dodds gave the away side a two goal lead, before a Devante Cole brace drew Town level. Hunter then climbed off the bench to slide home Chris Long’s pullback to secure a tie at Bristol City in the New Year.
Two draws ended the month, with David Ball grabbing a first half equaliser away at Swindon Town, before the Boxing Day draw with Bury at Highbury.
